The Friends are a group of parents, teachers and supporters, who meet a couple of times a term to help to raise money to make school a nicer place for our children.
All parents are welcome to come along to meetings, and it is great when we have lots of people as new ideas can really start to flow.
The money we raise pays for the fun extras!
Massive congratulations to everyone, especially Hayley Crampton, for the amazing sum of £1,711 which was raised at the Promises Auction. This money will be split between school, and the children’s unit at Airdale.
What are we providing this term?
We are paying for the Christmas trip to the Pantomime (including ice creams).
We have given money to Mrs Jameson to buy shrubs for the planters.
Coming up:
Christmas Fair Friday 9th Dec 3.30pm-5pm
We need donations for the cake stall, and mince pies for refreshments. Please deliver to school on the day.
Our next meeting is at 7pm on Monday 5th March 2012 at The Clarendon in Hebden. Please come along and see what we are doing.
