We enjoyed a delicious lunch and even more delightful company when sharing Grandparent's lunch last Tuesday. Please thank everyone concerned for such an entertaining and satisfying learning experience. If only our school days had been such fun!

Thank you to all the children for dressing up last Friday for the first EVER 'Dahlicious Dress Up Day' - as always you looked fantastic! A big thank you to the very kind couple who were visiting Burnsall and donated £20 as they passed the school gates!
All money raised will make a difference!

A huge thank you to Miss Thackray for keeping our wonderful website up to date.

Just wanted to say a big thankyou to the children of Class 1 for the lovely card they sent me for helping them with reading. I really enjoyed coming into school on monday mornings and I will miss the children's progress. I recommend this to any other parents with an hour or two to spare each week, it is extremely rewarding. Thankyou all!

Well done to the children in Year 6 who went to Crucial Crew yesterday. You all worked hard to make sure it was a fun but worthwhile day! I hope it has given you lots to think about. :)

Wow - memories! Just looking up Burnsall as thinking about spending my 40th birthday there. Decided to google the school as I was a pupil at the school in ~ 1975 - 1977. What a flood of memories as I looked at the picture on the school homepage. I remember dancing around the Maypole on the village Green for the Queen's jubilee in 1977 & being on Calendar! Must come back & visit including Thorpe village where Mum & I lived at the time! Happy thoughts, thank you for being on the web!

I have written before but failed, I was a pupil at this school in or about 1942 I was adopted from linton camp school by the rev'd W.F.Kennedy and lived at the rectory, my fathers name is in the church on the board,my time at the school was great and brings back fond memories,long may it last. many thanks m kennedy.
